Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
I have discerned a spirit of sabotage rising in this season. I’ve seen it come hard against my own life and the lives of many others. The Holy Spirit reminded me over the weekend about the Spirit of Sabotage. Then he confirms last night through a dream. I saw an army of snakes. The moment, I saw them in my dream, I began to plead the blood of Jesus. Usually, if I see a snake in my dream, I would cut his head with my sword but because it was so many of them I pleaded the blood of Jesus because I know that the blood is even higher than my spiritual sword. When I woke up I kept praying; I know that this is a spiritual battle. I believe hindering spirits work under the authority of the spirit of sabotage, the strongman.
The conspiracy of sabotage is revealed in the book of Nehemiah. The bible says that Nehemiah, who was the cupbearer to the king, received a burden from the Lord to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. He was met with considerable opposition through ridicule, anger, mockery, and continued threats of war to hinder the work. The bible says that Nehemiah and those who worked with him overcame the opposition by continuously staying focus and praying. Nehemiah was a man destined with purpose, who remained vigilant and focused in prayer and God gave him the victory over his enemies. Through repentance, fasting, intercession, and prayer we to can walk in victory.
The Spirit of Sabotage wants you to abort the progress and success of divinely ordained projects, purposes, relationships, organization, self, potential, and destinies. Where ever there is sabotage look for jealousy, resentment, and suspicion, and is often vindictive toward the person who detects its presence. Sabotage can make you both victim and perpetrator so that even when you pronounce judgment on others, you both expose and pronounce judgment upon yourself.
“Remember as you examine the activities of this spirit that you will discover that you are both victim and perpetrator. When the Lord gives you victory over this spirit, you will notice that a veil will be lifted, and scales of deception will fall from your spiritual eyes. Everything that you thought was real will crumble before you and evaporate like a mirage. The truth will prevail and set you free from anything built upon fabrications, lies, falsehood, and untruths.” Where there is sabotage, there is confusion. The mirage is the confusion that stems from subversion.
Isaiah 27:1 In that day the LORD will take His sharp, great, and mighty sword, and bring judgment on Leviathan, the fleeing serpent Leviathan, the coiling serpent and He will slay the dragon of the sea.
We take authority over jealousy, strife, contention, resentment, discouragement, vindictiveness, and self-destructive behavior. We bind their works and cancel every assignment in the mighty name of Jesus. We plead the blood over our minds, decreeing and declaring a new mindset. We stand on your word that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. So Lord, now we ask you to raise a standard against the enemy of our soul. Release the angels to war on our behalf. I pray Lord that you will anoint this word and prayer with your blood, destroying every yoke that wants to hold us in captivity. I seal this prayer with the Blood of Jesus.
No one is worth your joy, peace or the love God has placed within your heart. We must guard our hearts when we see the sabotage of one’s character. The bible says to pray for your enemies, and that is what I intend on doing until God tells me otherwise. Real beauty start from within our hearts. Clothes, Makeup, and long hair don’t determine the way God loves someone or values them. That is just deception or a camouflage. The beauty that starts with a whole person then flows in their appearance and self-worth — self-love in finding and soaking in the presence of God.
Through all of this God has given us the victory. (Romans 8:28) And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
