Leaders can’t be timid or complacent in this year. You can’t fall into your own fleshly desire. I pray God increase your grace to walk in righteousness in everything you do on a day to day basis. Leader’s must be bold as a Lion but walk with humility. Leaders don’t have time to show concern for people words towards them because there to busy seeking the face of God to fulfill destiny and help others to fulfill destiny. I pray the Lord grant you the grace to be confident in who he calls you to be and not be discouraged from doing good towards others. God says “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. (Sam 16:7) For the Lord sees not as man sees man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart” God chose the least likely in the eyes of man because He looked at David’s heart and not his outward appearance. David’s heart toward God made him a great leader and king that Israel ever had. Deborah was a woman of authority and power. She was a woman that fear nothing but God. She sat with Kings and gave them wise counsel. Great leaders must possess courage and not be afraid of what others think or what others might do. Even when Barak didn’t want to go into battle unless she went. She knew it was God ordering her footsteps. Her willingness to go into battle showed that she trusted God and had no fear of others but only feared God.
There will be a time in life that we will have to go into places and stand our ground. 2nd Cor 1:5 “For as we share abundantly in Christ’s sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too”. Paul told us that we share in Christ sufferings but we also share in his comfort too. We should never want to move out of position to please people. We should never question who we are because we don’t do or act like everybody else. I declare and decree every door of insecurity be shut right now in Jesus name. When you became a Christian you sign up for the opposition and it’s up to you to trust Jesus enough to know that you have the victory and guard your heart. Reach a place that you can love your enemies. Is that always easy? I think not, but by the grace of God empower us, Lord, to have compassion for others. Remove the scale from our eyes so we can see others the way you see them with mercy and compassion. Will this happen overnight? No, it won’t it takes time, but until then guard your heart against people negative words and actions so you will not become like them. Don’t try to make the correction and then falling into the same sin or problem. “Bad company corrupts good character” 1 Corinthians 15:33.
Sam 15:22 To God, obedience is better than sacrifice and that’s a mark of a great leader. Every great leader must possess the meekness of Moses, be a man or woman after God’s own heart, must live a life of obedience to God, must learn to suffer and suffer well, have boldness to do what they know needs to be done, have the courage to do it, and know that when they fall that they can be forgiven and restored by the grace of God. 2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.
